Google can only show what it can reach and understand. Either something stops it reaching your pages, or it reaches them and finds nothing that answers a search.
Google isn’t ignoring your website. It’s reading it, and not finding an answer.

Every customer who searches for what you do and doesn’t find you finds someone else. You never see those searches, so the loss stays invisible.
The two-minute check
Search Google for site:yourwebsite.com.
- Nothing comes back: it’s a setting. Check that nothing tells search engines to stay away, verify the website in Search Console, submit the sitemap, and give it time.
- Your pages come back: Google can see your website fine. Sending it again won’t change anything, because the pages don’t yet answer what people search.
Then check it yourself
Search for what you sell, in a customer’s words, plus your area. Open the pages that show up, then yours, and ask what Google asks: which one answers the search?
The quick fix, if it’s a setting
If nothing came back, the steps above are the whole fix, and anyone with access to the website can do them. Then wait a few weeks and search again.
When it needs more: what Google looks for
- A page for each real question your customers search, in their words.
- Page titles and headings that say what the page is about, not just “Home”.
- Your business details (what you do, where, your hours), clear and the same everywhere.
- Fast, readable pages on a phone, because Google measures both.
