37 of the 44 checks must pass before launch, with no exceptions. The other 7 are recommended: we do them on every website unless there’s a good reason not to, and if there is, we tell you why. Two of the must-pass checks can only finish after launch: real visitors’ data (check 3, within 28 days) and the final measurement (check 44). Every other must-pass check is passed before it goes live.
