AskRevu: a few words in, an honest Google review out.

A small business’s happiest customers rarely leave a review. We designed and built AskRevu so that a customer can scan a printed card, say a few words in any language, and post an honest review from their own Google account.

The askrevu.com homepage: “Few words from your customer. A real review on Google.”, ₹499 a month, and beside it a phone where a customer has typed a short note in Hinglish.
The customer screen, from AskRevu’s own demo: “Say it however you like. We will write it up.”, with a note typed in Hinglish: “khana acha tha, staff ne dhyan diya, thoda wait tha”.

The problem

Most happy customers never leave a review, not because they don’t want to help, but because of the blank box: they don’t know what to write. The common fix, asking for a star rating first and sending only happy customers to Google, breaks Google’s rules.

What we designed

  1. One question instead of a blank box. A printed card asks what happened, and the customer answers in a few words, however they like.

  2. Nothing to install. The phone’s ordinary camera opens the page: no app to download and no account to create.

  3. A review the customer owns. AskRevu writes their words up properly; they edit it and post it from their own Google account, or post their words exactly as typed.

What we built

  1. 11 languages, mixed freely.

Hinglish in, Tamil out works, and Urdu is set right to left, properly.

  2. Printed cards, one code per place.

A6 or A5, in English, Hindi or both, with one code per counter, table or staff member, so scan counts stay separate.

  3. Google’s rules, kept by design.

No rating question first and no filtering, so every write-up can go to Google, the bad wait included.

  4. Posted by the customer, never by us.

The review goes up from the customer’s own account, and AskRevu never touches it again.

askrevu.com’s homepage, the middle of five runs with Google’s speed test for phones, with its analytics left out of the test. It also scored 100 on Google’s best-practices and search tests. Measured on 12 October 2026.

What it shows

How we design software around what people actually do, keep it within the rules, and build it for every language its users speak.

What it doesn’t

Not a client project, and no customer results yet: AskRevu is new, and this page doesn’t invent any.
