Our studioCase study

We rebuilt our own site to the standard we sell.

The first site we held to our own 44-point standard was this one — hand-coded, template-free, and measured in public. No client to hide behind, no exceptions for being our own project.

Why

Before we ask a business to trust a published performance standard, we owe it a demonstration. A studio that sells speed and honesty on a slow, borrowed template has nothing to stand on. So the first site we held to the standard was our own — no client to point at, no discount for being the customer.

What we set out to prove

One bar, set before a line of code was written — and non-negotiable because we were the client.

01
Pass every point of our own standard — no waivers.
The full 44-point standard, applied to our own site exactly as it would be to a client's. No exceptions for being the customer.
02
Zero templates or page builders.
Hand-coded in our own repository, so the claim "0 templates" is literally true and independently checkable.
03
Publish the real numbers on the page.
Measured vitals, shown in public — and where a figure isn't measured yet, say so plainly instead of inventing one.

The decisions

Every choice carried a reason. If it would look at home on any other studio's site, it was cut.

DECISION 01
Type carries the site — no stock photography.
The reason

A studio with no client photos shouldn't fake a visual. The statement serif provides all the warmth honestly, and every word on the page is real.

DECISION 02
One accent, used rarely.
The reason

Signal-orange is an instrument marking, not a mood. It earns attention by being scarce — flood it and it becomes decoration, breaking the anti-template test.

DECISION 03
Hand-coded, no builder.
The reason

"0 templates" has to be true in our own repository before we can claim it for a client. The build is the proof, not the promise.

DECISION 04
Honesty stays on the page.
The reason

We publish the vitals — and where a number isn't measured yet, the field is left empty and labelled, rather than filled with a flattering guess.

The numbers

The vitals plate only ever shows figures actually measured on production — the same numbers this page’s own footer reads.

What it shows

This proves method and credibility — not client results.

We're a new studio. What this case study demonstrates is that we hold our own work to the exact bar we sell — hand-coded, template-free, and measured in the open. Named client case studies, with their own published numbers, join this page as those projects ship. Until then, the most honest proof we can offer is the site you're reading.
